Which word? A presenter (in British English) or announcer (in American English) presents any type of television or radio show. An anchor presents news programmes. In British English a host presents an entertainment show; in American English host can also describe sb who presents more serious shows. A broadcaster may talk on a variety of shows but is not the presenter for a particular show.
