Manchester United
Manchester United [Manchester United] BrE NAmE (also infmlMan United)
a football team from Manchester, England, with a ground at ↑Old Trafford. It was formed in 1902 and has won the ↑FA Cup more times than any other team, as well as having many other successes in Britain and Europe. In 1958 several of its players were killed in a plane crash in Munich.
