The Old Bailey is the popular name for the Central Criminal Court in London, England, where serious cases are tried. It is built on the place where ↑Newgate prison used to be. There have been many famous trials at the Old Bailey. On top of the building is a well-known statue of Justice wearing a blindfold and holding a sword in one hand and a pair of scales in the other.
