Glastonbury
Glastonbury [Glastonbury] BrE NAmE
a town in south-west England. According to ↑legend, Joseph of Arimathea went there with the ↑Holy Grail. Another story states that King Arthur and Queen ↑Guinevere are buried there, and that Glastonbury was originally ↑Avalon. Today it is famous for the Glastonbury Festival, a very large pop concert that takes place in fields outside the town every summer.
