Dodge City
Dodge City [Dodge City] BrE NAmE
a city in the US state of ↑Kansas. Originally called Buffalo City, it was important in the 19th century as a centre for ↑cattle at the end of the ↑Santa Fe Trail. At that time it had a reputation for violence and was known as ‘the wickedest little city in America’.
