Decorated style
Decorated style [Decorated style] BrE NAmE a style of ↑Gothic architecture that was common in England from about 1290 to about 1350. Its main feature was the ornamental stone carving around windows and doors. This style replaced the simple ↑Early English style and was followed by the Perpendicular style.
